Nazia Faiz - Chair of Governors
I have worked in Consulting and Programme Management for almost 9 years and currently work for a software company in the Financial Services sector. I have a range of experience across strategy, business transformation, programme and risk management, and governance across several industries including, higher education, health, financial services, and retail. I hold a CIMA foundation and other project management qualifications. Additionally, I bring expertise in supporting new business development at small start-ups and recently founded a company of my own. I am particularly passionate about giving young people the tools to truly thrive in their lives and ensuring everyone has access to equal opportunities. I have been involved in many voluntary initiatives including job application support, mentoring, and training to both schools and university students, and as well as being Chair of Blenheim Primary School LAB, I am also a governor of a further education college in London.
Brian Sweatman – Governor
I was lucky to have the benefit of a good state education that encouraged my natural curiosity and desire to understand how things worked. It enabled me to pursue a career in science, working in Research & Development for a large pharmaceutical company. Although now retired, I still have a keen interest in recent advances in science, technology and innovation, but also have a little more time to help a new generation develop their own curiosity and wonder also discovering new and passions.
I have been a school governor for many years and have always worked with the schools, and their communities, to provide safe and attractive environments in which the children can learn and a curriculum enriched with extra cultural, sports and educational experiences. I hope that we can provide a breadth of experience at Blenheim that will give our children the opportunity to discover new interests and develop the skills that will enable them to become independent and successful in our rapidly changing world.
Staff Governor - Mrs Williams - I have been a member of staff at Blenheim for six years and have worked across the school. I currently teach our Year 4 class which I really enjoy. I lead English at our school and I am passionate about Literacy. Supporting teaching staff in the delivery of quality Literacy lessons and helping our children to progress in their reading and writing skills, enabling them to improve their outcomes for the future and continued academic journeys.
I enjoy being a staff governor as part of my support for the school community. I am proud of our school and will continue to work hard to ensure its growth.

Jai Manchaldore – Co-opted Governor (Link Safeguarding) - My educational and career journey has had many highs and lows but been quite an interesting and positive one. I have learnt a great deal about how collaborative, inclusive and team work can lead to greater success. To say a few words about myself, I work for an investment bank as a Strat, ours is a small family of three, my son started school this year.
I am very passionate about bringing community together through events and other activities, and involving and encouraging everyone to actively take part which benefits the society.
When I learnt about Governor opportunity through my workplace CSR, I was excited to take part actively and contribute in developing a positive school culture. I was lucky to get this opportunity at Blenheim Primary School and am keen to share my expertise, skills, contacts and knowledge in related areas to bring positive impact in school governance.

Clare Stone – Parent Governor - As well as being mum to Emily, I have a background in Financial Services where I have worked within Insurance companies and currently in software development. Schools and the education landscape have changed significantly since I was part of the system but I am passionate about ensuring that the best outcomes are achieved for our children and that they are exposed to a wide variety of opportunity which is why I took up the role of parent governor in 2021. In my spare time I like to run and cycle to keep myself sane as well as being an active member of the church that we attend as a family and my faith is something that is very important to me in how I live my life.
