Learning Attributes

At Blenheim we believe in developing and nurturing our children to be great independent learners who have the skills and attributes that enables them to learn effectively. We believe our children need to learn how to learn and understand these attributes so they can apply them throughout their lives, as they prepare for secondary school and university.

Our children worked together to create a charter of what makes an outstanding learner, and they demonstrate these throughout their day in school and at home.

Our Charter

We have also been reading the book ‘Earnest’ as our inspiration for our character development. ‘Earnest’ is the story of the large moose who never gave up but found the most extraordinary way to overcome the problem.
