                   MFL Vision Statement
At Blenheim Primary, we strongly believe that the study of Primary Languages prepares pupils to participate in a rapidly changing world in which work and other activities are increasingly carried out in languages other than English. Pupils use languages to communicate information responsibly, creatively and without discrimination. They learn how to employ languages to enable rapid access to ideas and experiences from a wide range of people, communities and cultures. Primary Languages is also about the broader curriculum – about understanding language and identity, about developing an international outlook, and about learning. Increased capability in the use of languages promotes initiative and independent learning and encourages diversity within society.
